Hi, I’m Sue

I transform voices into powerful instruments, guiding people of all ages and skill level to find their unique sound

Why Me?

Dedicated Teacher & Coach

For the past 20 years, I’ve helped students of all ages and skill levels develop their voices through proper technique that promotes vocal health and longevity. As Director of the 80-member Kelowna Community Chorus, I’ve guided both individuals and groups, providing personalized instruction that meets each singer where they are and helps them grow confidently within a supportive environment.

Community Advocate

Music is more than just technique—it’s about connection. I’m passionate about building community through music and regularly volunteer to share its benefits. My teaching is deeply rooted in these experiences, creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every singer can find their voice and feel part of a larger musical community.

Experienced Performer

With over 50 years of singing experience across Canada, the US, and Europe, advanced music degrees from the University of Washington, and performances at prestigious venues like the Metropolitan Opera and Carnegie Hall, I offer a rich understanding of vocal technique and performance, sharing real-world insights to help students reach their full potential

Private Voice Lessons & Vocal Coaching

"Sue is the best vocal coach I have ever had. She has helped me grow as a singer and prepare for numerous auditions. Over the past few years, I have learned so much from her, and her dedication is truly unmatched. She goes above and beyond in every lesson, and I can't thank her enough for the growth and confidence she has given me as a singer."
